Drawing of lots has determined five winners of the 21 August quiz: Toms Veidemanis, Ināra Zorgenfreija, Lilita Jansone, Ieva Hadkevica and Iveta Klaiše, all of whom will receive a surprise gift – the silver anniversary coin Declaration of Independence. During the visit to the Saeima on 21 August a total of 78 out of 454 quiz takers responded correctly to all 10 questions. To determine the lucky five winners the lots were drawn by Solvita Āboltiņa, Speaker of the Saeima, Deputy Speakers Jānis Vucāns and Andrejs Klementjevs, as well as by Kārlis Šadurskis, Secretary of the Saeima, and Dzintars Rasnačs, Deputy Secretary of the Saeima.
