Photos from events of 21 August (photo chronicles of the LETA news agency)
Photos show historical evidence of events that took place in August 1991 and the atmosphere of that time – starting with activities of armed OMON troops in Riga and the August Putsch, and ending with dismantling of the monument of Lenin and opening the embassy of Sweden in Latvia.
